Music Club

Our Music Club gives students a fun opportunity to explore music through singing, dancing, and playing instruments. Members will discover different styles of music, develop creativity, and work together while learning the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, and performance in an exciting and engaging way.

Art Club

Discovery Art Club is the perfect place for students who want to flex their creative muscle. In Art Club students will explore a variety of activities, tools and materials, as well as participate in art contests, fundraisers and special exhibits.  Art Club meets for 1 hour afterschool once a week for 6-10 weeks (dependent on school schedule).  There will be 2 sessions of Art Club, one in the Fall (Sept-Dec) and one in the Spring (March-May). 

Debate Club

Discovery debate club is a structured space where 4th and 5th grade students learn to express their ideas, listen respectfully to others, and explore different viewpoints on age-appropriate topics.

The goals of Discovery Debate club are as follows! 

• Build Public Speaking Skills: Kids practice speaking clearly and confidently in front of others.

• Encourage Critical Thinking: They learn to form opinions based on facts and logic.

• Teach Respectful Dialogue: Students learn to disagree politely and listen actively.

• Boost Teamwork: Many debates are done in pairs or teams, encouraging collaboration.
